We recommend registering a domain name for the following reasons:
You could have your company pages as a subset of the OrangePips website at no additional cost. However your web address would then be in the format
http://www.OrangePips.com/yourcompany/
http://www.yourname.com or http://www.yourname.ca looks a lot more professional, especially if you choose to include it on your business card or letter head, and is more memorable too.
It also enables people to email you at name@yourname.com
If you have an existing email address then you may choose to have email to the new address forwarded to your existing address automatically.
We can register and maintain your .com domain name for $20 for the first year and $15 per annum thereafter. (Please enquite for other domain extensions such as .ca)
Alternatively you may register it yourself with a third party, and we will give you instructions on how to associate the address with your new website.
